Perks of Blenz Rewards Program Policy and Terms of Use
Effective Date: July 1, 2021
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR PARTICIPATING IN THE PERKS OF BLENZ PROGRAM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT ACCESS OR PARTICIPATE IN THE PERKS OF BLENZ PROGRAM. You agree that we may provide updates, notices, disclosures and amendments to these Terms of Use, and other information relating to the PERKS OF BLENZ program by electronic means, including posting such information and materials online at www.blenz.com and in the Blenz Mobile App.
Changes To Terms
Blenz Coffee reserves the right to change or modify these Terms of Use or any policy, FAQ, or guideline pertaining to Perks of Blenz, in whole or in part, at any time and at its sole discretion. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately and may be posted to www.blenz.com. You waive any right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes or modifications, and your continued access to or participation in the Perks of Blenz program following any such changes or modifications confirms your acceptance. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you must stop accessing and participating in the Perks of Blenz program.
Privacy Statement
Our Privacy Statement is incorporated into these Terms of Use and also governs your participation in the Perks of Blenz program. Please read the Privacy Statement carefully to understand how Blenz collects, uses and discloses information about customers, how to update or change your personal information, and how we communicate with you.
About Perks of Blenz
Perks of Blenz is one way in which Blenz endeavours to reward and thank loyal customers for patronizing our business and purchasing Blenz products. Perks of Blenz members are able to earn and accumulate “Points” that can be redeemed for Perks of Blenz benefits (“Perks”) at participating Blenz stores. Unfortunately, not all Blenz stores have the ability to award points or redeem perks at this time.
Joining Perks of Blenz
To join Perks of Blenz program, registration can be completed through perksofblenz.com or (“Websites”), or to the Blenz mobile app (“App”) and follow the prompts to create an account. You will be required to provide the following information: First and last name, email address, phone number and password. Birthday (month, day) is optional to receive birthday offers. If you do not provide birthday information you will not receive your Birthday Reward.
Earning Points
The Perks that are available to you through Perks of Blenz are based on the number of points that you earn. You can earn points by making purchases at participating Blenz stores in Canada in the following ways: Paying for your purchase with Linked Payment Method. You can link a credit card, debit card or mobile wallet to your account, and use it to pay directly for your order through the App. When you pay directly with a linked payment method, you will earn 10 (ten) points for every $1 (one) Canadian Dollar you spend at participating stores. Blenz may add or remove available payment methods at any time in its sole discretion. Scanning your member barcode in the App and then paying with cash, credit card, debit card or mobile wallet in-store. You can earn 10 (ten) points for every $1 (one) Canadian Dollar you spend at participating Blenz stores when you scan your Perks of Blenz QR code in the App at the register prior to paying with cash, credit cards, debit cards, or mobile wallets. Promotional Bonus Point Offers. From time to time, we, or others acting with our permission, may offer you opportunities to earn additional “Bonus Points” through special promotions. These promotional Bonus Points will be awarded as described in the applicable promotional offer and will be subject to any additional terms set forth in such promotional offer. These promotional Bonus Points may only be available to residents of certain provinces, or they may be offered Canada-wide.
Exclusions to Earning Points; Participating Stores Only
You may not earn points in connection with certain types of beta or promotional programs. Points may be earned at participating Blenz stores only. Taxes, tips, donations, and fees, including without limitation, shipping and handling fees, gift-wrapping fees, delivery fees, and bag fees, also may be excluded and ineligible for points accrual.
Returns
If you void a purchase, Blenz will deduct the Points that you earned for that purchase, potentially resulting in a negative points balance on your account. Credit cards do not accrue points and cannot be registered or reloaded for additional value. If you return products purchased with a credit card, debit card, mobile wallet or cash (note: an original receipt or gift receipt is required), Blenz may deduct the points earned in connection with your purchase, potentially resulting in a negative points balance. You may be required to provide the physical credit card, debit card, or mobile wallet in order for Blenz to process the refund.
Points Expiration
Unless otherwise noted, Points are automatically added to your account within twenty-four (24) hours of your eligible purchase points do not have an expiration date but a points-earning purchase must be made every 12 months to retain your points total. Example: A points earning purchase was made on July 12th 2021, if not other points-earning purchase is made before July 12th 2022 your points total will be expired in its totality. You can view and track your Points balance and available Perks, as well as any additional benefits for which you are eligible as a Perks of Blenz member, on https://perksofblenz.com or by using the App.
Redeeming Points for Perks
Points may be redeemed for complimentary Blenz items at participating Blenz stores in Canada. Perks of Blenz offers different Perks based on different Point redemption tiers. Note that the Perks available and Point redemption tiers may vary by location and by country and that Blenz may adjust the items included in each tier at any time at its sole discretion. The Points redemption tiers for redeeming Points at participating Blenz stores in Canada are as follows: 1000 Points may be redeemed for one (1) of the following items: medium-sized Americano or medium-sized Loose Leaf Tea. 2000 Points may be redeemed for one (1) of the following items: a medium-sized Latte, medium-sized Cappuccino or medium-sized Tea Latte. 3000 Points may be redeemed for one (1) of the following items: a medium-sized White, Dark or Milk Hot Chocolate, a medium-sized White, Dark or Milk Mocha, a medium-sized Matcha Latte™ or single Matcha Shot 3500 Points may be redeemed for one (1) of the following items: any medium-sized Chillo™ beverage or any Blenz Protein Shake. 4000 Points may be redeemed for one (1) bag of 340g Blenz Signature Coffee Beans (Blends include: Signature Espresso, Colombian Sunrise, Safari Blend, and Klondike Blend)
Points Redemption Availability May Vary; Participating Blenz Stores Only
Not all Blenz stores have the ability to honour Points redemption or provide Points redemption at multiple tiers. Additionally, the items available for redemption in each Points redemption tier may vary.
Other Important Point Redemption Information and Exclusions
You cannot redeem multiple Star redemption tiers within a single beverage order. For example, you cannot redeem 1000 points for a medium-sized Americano and 500 points for added syrup within a single beverage order.
Additional Benefits of Perks of Blenz Membership
As a Perks of Blenz member, you may be eligible for the following additional benefits: Birthday Reward. On your birthday (as indicated in your Perks of Blenz account), you will receive one (1) complimentary handcrafted beverage (“Birthday Reward”). Your Birthday Reward may be redeemed at participating Blenz stores only. To qualify for your Birthday Reward, you must join the Perks of Blenz program at least seven (7) days prior to your birthday month, provide your birthday in your account information, and make at least one point-earning transaction prior to your birthday each year. Your Birthday Reward will be automatically added to your account on the first (1st) day of your birthday month and is valid for thirty (30) days. You must scan the member barcode in the App for redemption in-store or place an order through the Blenz Mobile App to redeem your Birthday Reward. You can check to see if your Birthday Reward is available by accessing your account on perksofblenz.com or in the App. Personalized offers and coupons. Special offers may be distributed by email, through the App (including via push notifications), or by physical mail. You may be required to opt-in and activate special offers via the App or via email. In order to receive and activate personalized special offers distributed via email, you must opt-in to receive promotional and marketing offers from Blenz and you may be required to provide a valid email, telephone and physical address. Special offers may be customized based on your purchase behaviors and preferences, and may include periodic discounts on food, beverages and merchandise, or the opportunity to earn Bonus Points. Special offers may have certain restrictions, including expiration dates and short, time-limited redemption periods. Special offers are personal to you and cannot be shared, copied or transferred. You may be required to scan your member barcode in the App or complete an order through Blenz Mobile App in order to redeem special offers. Read each offer carefully for specific details, expiration dates, and limitations and restrictions. Double Points Day. Blenz may offer Double Points Days, where you can earn twice the number of Points for your purchase. Blenz will notify you of a designated Double Points Day, which will be personalized and selected by Blenz for you. You must download the Blenz app OR opt-in to receive promotional and marketing emails from Blenz in order to receive notice of a designated Double Points Day. You also may be required to “activate” your Double Points Day by clicking within the notification email or the notification within the App. Blenz reserves the right to exclude certain products and merchandise from Double Points Day eligibility and to modify the Double-Points Day benefit. Blenz reserves the right to change or suspend the number and type of benefits offered to members of Perks of Blenz at its sole discretion at any time.
Other Important Information You Should Know
There are no participation or membership fees associated with the Perks of Blenz program. Points accrued in connection with Perks of Blenz are promotional, have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash. In addition, your redemption of Points accrued in connection with Perks of Blenz cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts, unless otherwise expressly indicated by Blenz. Your Points, Perks, registered Blenz Cards, and Perks of Blenz account are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with, family, friends or others, or used by you for any commercial purpose. You may have only one (1) Perks of Blenz account that is personal to you. Without notice to you, Blenz reserves the right to suspend any Blenz Cards registered to your account and/or terminate your account and/or your participation in Perks of Blenz if you have violated these Terms of Use or if the use of your Perks of Blenz account is unauthorized, deceptive, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful. Blenz may suspend, cancel or combine Perks of Blenz accounts that appear to be duplicative. In the event that your participation in Perks of Blenz is terminated, all accrued Points in your account are void. Without notice to you, Blenz also reserves the right to “unregister” and make ineligible for Perks of Blenz any account that has been inactive for two (2) consecutive years. Inactivity is defined as no Points earned during such two (2) consecutive year period. In the event that your account is unregistered or rendered inactive, all accrued Points in your account are void. Blenz reserves the right to change, modify, discontinue or cancel Perks of Blenz or any part of the Perks of Blenz program at any time and at its sole discretion, without notice to you.
Severability
If any provision or part of a provision of these Terms of Use is unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision or part of the provision is deemed severable from these Terms of Use and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
