There’s nothing quite like starting your day with a perfectly brewed cup of coffee. At Blenz, we offer a selection of medium to dark-roasted coffee beans that cater to every coffee lover’s palate. Whether you prefer a robust espresso or a smooth, medium roast, we have something for everyone. Here are our top picks and the best brewing methods to enjoy them.

Coffee Selections

Signature Espresso

The Blenz Espresso has balanced notes of caramel, plum, and candied pecans that give a lingering hint of sweetness and boldness – never burnt, never bitter.

Colombian Sunrise Blend (Medium Roast)

The smoothest of them all—bursting in earthy yet zesty flavour with notes of citrus, toasted oats, and blackcurrant. Truly an irresistible taste!

Safari Blend (Medium Roast)

This may be medium, but this one will pack a punch. Experience an adventure worth calling “nutty” with hints of hazelnut, pomegranate and black tea.

Klondike Blend (Dark Roast)

Our dark roast is perfect for the most daring of all coffee enthusiasts. Experience its strong, rich flavour with tantalizing notes of dark chocolate, grape and black cherry that deliver a burst of brightness.

Brewing Methods

Drip Coffee Maker

Best for: Colombian Sunrise Blend, Safari Blend

Instructions:

  1. Grind the Beans: Use a medium grind for the best extraction.
  2. Measure and Brew: Use one to two tablespoons of coffee per six ounces of water. Follow your coffee maker’s instructions for brewing.
  3. Enjoy: Savor the balanced flavors and smooth finish of these medium roasts.

French Press

Best for: Klondike Blend, Safari Blend

Instructions:

  1. Grind the Beans: Use a coarse grind to avoid over-extraction.
  2. Measure: Use one to two tablespoons of coffee per six ounces of water.
  3. Brew: Add coffee grounds to the French press, pour in hot water (just off the boil), and stir. Place the lid on and let it steep for about four minutes. Press the plunger down slowly.
  4. Serve: Pour and enjoy the rich, full-bodied flavour.

Espresso Machine

Best for: Signature Espresso, Klondike Blend

Instructions:

  1. Grind the Beans: Use a fine grind for optimal pressure and extraction.
  2. Measure: Use about 18-20 grams of coffee for a double shot.
  3. Tamp: Evenly tamp the coffee grounds in the portafilter.
  4. Brew: Pull the shot for about 23-25 seconds.
  5. Relish: Enjoy the bold, intense flavours of a perfect espresso.

Pour Over

Best for: Colombian Sunrise Blend, Safari Blend

Instructions:

  1. Grind the Beans: Use a medium-fine grind for a balanced extraction.
  2. Prepare: Place the filter in the pour-over cone and rinse with hot water. Discard the rinse water.
  3. Measure and Bloom: Add coffee grounds (one to two tablespoons per six ounces of water). Pour a small amount of hot water over the grounds to bloom (let it sit for 30 seconds).
  4. Pour: Slowly pour the rest of the hot water in a circular motion, allowing the coffee to drip through.
  5. Savour: Enjoy the clean and vibrant flavours of a pour-over coffee.
